Just to show that they mess up other flags from other countries..

The point I am making here is not that mistakes happen, but that consumers of media are visually bombarded to a point where authenticity and accuracy are overlooked. If a German TV station can overlook its’ own national flag as a mistake, perhaps there might be a small Fehler im System?
